I fostered a negative mindset without even being aware of it because that was all I knew. Once I used words of affirmation to practice gratitude, I able witness the shift from that negative mindset to a positive mindset. Being aware of this shift was inspirational. My external reality changed with my internal reality.

Have you ever heard the saying “your internal thoughts create your external reality”? Well, it wasn’t until I personally experienced this shift that I believed it. It was insane to think my thoughts control almost everything in my life. However, when I began to practice gratitude throughout my day, I was witnessing my own perspective on life changing.
I noticed all the little things to be grateful for. The “I have to do” turned into “I get to do”. Reframing my mindset with daily gratitude created a more positive attitude towards everything in my reality.
In other words, your mind will continuously look for things you believe. For example, if you believe someone doesn’t like you, you will then subconsciously look to external things that will make this belief true, even if it isn’t.
Therefore, shifting your thoughts to practice gratitude daily will foster not only a positive mindset but also a more fulfilling life.
